Delegate Packages
There are two delegate options you can select:
Registration with B&B accommodation - £350
This includes:
- Registration for all 3 days of conference
- Hot lunch on each day of the conference (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Tea/Coffee breaks and pastries
- Poster session (with drink included)
- Conference Banquet (Tuesday night)
- B&B accommodation at the venue for Monday and Tuesday night
Registration without accommodation - £200
This includes:
- Registration for all 3 days of conference
- Hot lunch on each day of the conference (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
- Tea/Coffee breaks and pastries
- Poster session (with drink included)
- Conference Banquet (Tuesday night)
- No accommodation included

Venue
The conference will be held at the Edgbaston Park Hotel, within the University of Birmingham.
Delegates taking the accommodation option will be able to stay at the hotel, the rooms include:
- En-suite shower with complimentary eco-friendly toiletries
- Free Wi-Fi (up to 100Mbps)
- Air conditioning
- Desk and ergonomic chair
- Tea and coffee-making facilities
- LED TV
- Hair dryer
- Iron and ironing board

The accommodation option also includes breakfast each morning (all guests will have lunch provided).
Conference Banquet
The Spring MIST 2023 conference banquet will take place at the beautiful Birmingham Botanical Gardens, and is included in everyones conference registration. The School of Engineering within the University of Birmingham has very generously sponsored the event so we have been able to access this at a greatly reduced cost.
Delegates can browse the gardens, network with colleagues and enoy a delicious 3-course meal.
Poster Session
On the evening of the first day of the conference there will be a poster session, networking event and drinks reception (one free drink included) for all delegates. This will be a great opportunity to explore the wonderful MIST science that is being done and catch-up with colleagues and collaborators.
Football Competition
Of the many things that we can look forward to with having Spring MIST "in-person" again is the 5-a-side football competition which was first held at Jorvik MIST in 2001.
State-of-the-art sports pitches are booked and we're ready to host the tournament on the Tuesday evening (with plenty of time to win the tournament [and have a shower] before the Banquet later that evening).
